Joanne Barton
Associate Solicitor
Joanne Barton joins the Conveyancing department at our Darwen office, where she will be working as an Associate Solicitor.
Since qualifying as a Solicitor during her time at Butcher & Barlow in 2003, Joanne remained in her role within the Conveyancing department until 2010, when she decided to take 5 years out and become a ‘stay at home mother’ after their first daughter was born. Once deciding enough time at home had been spent, Joanne moved back to Butcher & Barlow and returned to the Conveyancing team.
Here at Watson Ramsbottom, Joanne’s role consists of more technical tasks, such as; Assisting with complicated transactions and assisting in resolving problems – Rather than day to day fee earning.
Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her family, which includes our very own Stuart Barton (Who Joanne married in 2008) She also plays the Saxophone in a big band & spends some time walking and mountain biking.
