Curtis joined Watson Ramsbottom as a Family Solicitor in June 2022.

He holds a first-class honours in law, and specialises in children and domestic abuse matters, representing clients from a variety of backgrounds. He appears before Magistrates, District Judges and Circuit judges on applications for Injunctions, Child Arrangements Orders, Declarations of Parentage and Special Guardianship Orders. Curtis also has experience in dealing with Child Protection Conferences and PLO meetings and he represents parties to care proceedings, whether a parent, family member (e.g. a grandparent) or Local Authority.

He has acted in cases involving allegations of non-accidental injury, factitious induced illness or injury and transnational abandonment. Curtis has also acted in cases involving enforcement issues, parental alienation, intractable hostility, public interest immunity and contempt of Court.

He prides himself in the domestic abuse work he undertakes, treating clients from all walks of life with compassion and understanding. Outside of work, Curtis enjoys the outdoors. He is also a classically trained pianist and is a fan of pop-punk.
