About

Khansa is a family solicitor who joined Watson Ramsbottom in June 2021.

Having attained a law degree from Keele University in 2016 she went on to complete her LPC at University of Law Manchester, before qualifying as a solicitor in 2021.

Khansa’s legal career started at Lewis Rodgers Solicitors where she worked for over 4 years initially as a paralegal and then as a Trainee Solicitor before qualifying.

Khansa was heavily involved with the firm’s pro-bono and collaborative work with Keele University and Staffordshire University Legal Clinics, the Community Legal Outreach Collaboration Keele and local domestic abuse charities and would lead training and law clinics with students on family law and legal aid.

Her initial focus was Domestic Abuse and securing emergency protective injunctions for clients. She then progressed into broader family law practice in the areas of private children and divorce and finances. Khansa has a wide range of experience in these areas.

Khansa’s move to Watson Ramsbottom involves working in the Public Law team and representing clients in a wide variety of care proceedings and private law matters.

Khansa is currently a trustee of Voluntary Sector North West and enjoys engaging with cross-sector voluntary and charitable organisations in the North West, travelling and socialising with friends and family
